That’s why we’ve decided to start our referral program, to thank all of you that spread the word about our little photography business!
How Does the Referral Program Work?
It’s easy! Send a new referral our way and let them know to put your first and last name in the referral area of their client questionnaire. Alternately, you may use the custom referral code we provide to you if you are already a client. If your referral purchases our photography services, they get $25 off of their first session and you earn $25 towards your next session. Our referral fees are also stackable!!! For example, if you refer 10 people and they all list your name/code AND purchase a session, you’d have $250 in credits!
Do You Have to Be a Client to Refer a New Client?
You CAN still refer clients even if you’ve never done business with Snow Moon Media LLC before. Simply send us an email letting us know you’re interested in referring someone. Include your full name, address and email address in the email. We will then provide you with a unique referral code and start tracking your referrals. This is a smart option for anyone interested in saving money on professional photography sessions with us.

Our referral program credits are good towards the purchase of our photography package services. There is no cash equivalent or cash payment in exchange for credits. Credits cannot be used towards prints, Snow Moon Media LLC owned printables, written content or custom products.
Referral Program Guidelines
Unfortunately, as with every program, there are people who try to exploit it. Because of this, the following guidelines are in place:
Referral credits are earned on new clients ONLY. Spouses cannot refer each other in order to receive additional credits, regardless of which spouse makes payment. One new client referral credit per paying client (except spouses).
We will not provide referral credits for any new clients/customers that do not provide us with the full name or unique code of the referrer. In order to properly attribute referral credits, we must be able to discern the code or the first and last name of the referral source. Instruct your referrals to use your first AND last name or unique code when filling out the referral area of their questionnaire.
If your name is extremely common, we strongly suggest you use the custom referral code that we provide.
Claiming Your Referral Credits Towards Your Package
In order to use your referral credits towards your next photo session, you MUST be able to provide a valid (not expired) photo ID. Forms of ID we accept include State issued Driver’s license, State ID, Military ID, U.S. Passport, or FOID card. No other forms of ID will be accepted. This is non-negotiable.
Referral Program Credit Earning, Usage, Expiration, Etc
You have the ability to save up or “bank” your referral credits and let them grow, however, they do expire after one (1) year. You can choose to use only a portion of your credits or use all credits at once towards the cost of a photography package.
Referral credits are not available for use on:
- image prints
- custom products (collages, albums, frames, etc)
- written content
- Snow Moon Media’s own photography printables
Referral credits are not considered “earned” until the referral’s photography session has been completed and paid for in full.
You have the right to transfer your referral credits to another individual if you so choose. In order to do this, you MUST be present to provide a valid photo ID (see section above for suitable options). You can choose to transfer a portion, or you may choose to transfer all of your credits to another individual. Do not ask us to complete this transaction over the phone, as your request will be denied. We must confirm that you are the owner of the credits before we can approve a transfer.
Your credits are valid for a period of one (1) year and will expire 365 days after they have been earned. Transferring credits does not change the date of expiration.
In the unlikely event that Snow Moon Media LLC makes the decision to cease operations, you will receive a notification. This is sent to the email address we have on file for you. This email will alert you to the time frame you will have available to use any credits you currently have with us.
